MORE TO THE STORY
Real estate has somehow managed to follow me around my entire life… even during the years I was busy pretending I was going to become Beyoncé.
My first “real” job at 16 was leasing apartments. By 18, I was managing four apartment complexes with different tax credit structures, and by 19, I was working for a commercial broker learning how to analyze investment deals and manage commercial properties. Ironically, I almost got my real estate license back then, but in my infinite 19-year-old wisdom, I took a different path instead.
Life eventually pulled me into accounting, corporate life, entrepreneurship, motherhood, and about a hundred plot twists in between. I’ve worked in everything from commercial real estate and accounting management to life insurance and financial services. I’ve also spent years as a professional photographer and performer in the South Beach nightlife scene — because apparently I’ve never been capable of living a boring life.
But throughout all of it, real estate always kept pulling me back in.
My approach to real estate is probably a little different than what people expect from a “traditional” agent. I’m not big on pressure tactics, cold-calling strangers, or pretending every conversation needs to become a sales pitch. I believe buying or selling a home is both an emotional and financial decision, and people deserve honest guidance, smart strategy, and clear communication — not corporate scripts and weird sales psychology.
Because of my background in accounting, investing, negotiation, and marketing, I naturally approach real estate from both a practical and strategic perspective. I also hold the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) designations, which basically means I genuinely enjoy the strategy side of pricing, negotiating, and helping clients make informed decisions without unnecessary stress.
As a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), I also understand how powerful marketing and visual presentation are when it comes to selling a home. In today’s market, buyers usually fall in love with a property online first — and I take that seriously.
More than anything, I want my clients to feel informed, supported, calm, and confident throughout the process. Real estate can feel overwhelming sometimes, but my goal is to help people navigate it strategically without losing their minds in the process.
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property, investing, relocating, or just trying to figure out what makes the most sense financially, I’m here to help however I can.
